Summary. Noisometer does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Everything the app records stays on your device.
Data stored on your device. When you take a measurement, the app saves the sound levels, the date and time, the duration, and — if you have granted location access — the coordinates of the place where the measurement was taken. This information is stored locally on your iPhone. It is never uploaded, and the developer has no access to it.
Location. Location access is optional and used only to record where a measurement was taken. It is requested once at the start of each measurement and is never used for tracking. You can deny or revoke it in iOS Settings; the app will continue to work without it.
Microphone. The microphone is used only to measure sound levels while a measurement is running. No audio is recorded, stored or transmitted.
Third parties. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software development kits. It makes no network requests of any kind.
Deleting your data. Deleting a measurement removes it permanently. Deleting the app removes all stored measurements.
Children. The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
